ABF Heavy Fabrication is a 50/50 Australian–Finnish owned heavy fabrication company established in Finland. We design and manufacture top quality earthmoving attachments used in the construction, demolition, agricultural, forestry, quarrying and mining markets.
ABF Heavy Fabrication operates at the intersection of three continents: we apply Australian oversight to our manufacturing in China, while leveraging deep Finnish expertise to serve our global partners. Our sales staff can assist you with any enquiries regarding our product specification and application. From our primary distribution centre in Oulu, Finland, we provide efficient, reliable supply chains to clients across the EU.
We are also a distributor for BYG. We carry the full BYG FUTURA product line of G.E.T parts for excavators, bulldozers, graders, wheel loaders, and many more machines. This team is also every day customising attachments to meet specific customer requirements.

Machinery Attachments
ABF Heavy Fabrication designs and manufactures a broad range of machinery attachments for excavators, wheel loaders, skid steer loaders, and material handlers. The product range covers construction, demolition, quarrying, and mining applications, including buckets, grapples, rakes, grabs, and specialist fabricated tools. Attachments are engineered for demanding operating conditions, utilising high-strength structural steels and wear materials, with designs scalable from compact machines through to large production-class equipment, and built to suit OEM interfaces and customer specifications.

Metal Fabrication
ABF Heavy Fabrication is structured to deliver industrial-scale fabrication for machinery attachments and heavy steel components. The business focuses on welded structures, precision-machined parts, and complete assemblies, working primarily with high-strength and wear-resistant steels. Production is supported by large-format cutting, CNC machining, robotic and manual welding, plate forming, and controlled surface preparation, allowing ABF to manage both series production and bespoke projects with consistent quality control applied throughout the manufacturing process.

A Brief Overview of the Capacity Available to ABF Heavy Fabrication
Robotic Welding
Panasonic welders and imported Kobelco welding wires ensure strong durable welds.With our 500 amp fully automated welding systems by Panasonic, we make sure every weld is to our highest standards including ISO 9001 and SGS.
Laser Cutting Systems
With our 6kw, 12kw, and 30kw laser cutting machines using German and Australian controller systems, we are able to cut up to 90mm thick plates with little to zero kerf, resulting in a better fit and finish. The switchable beds allow us to cut plate on the first bed and load/unload steel from the second bed simultaneously.
CNC Press Machines and Rolling Equipment
With our CNC control break press machines and plate rollers, providing 200 ton, 400 ton, 600 ton, and 2000 ton capacities, we're able to work with materials up to any standard and thickness.
Automated Powder Coating Line
With our 200-meter-long fully automated powder coating line and our 9*12*10m³ manual oven system, we're allowed to do the vast majority of our powder coating in house and secure the best finish and quality for finished products.
Sawing, Milling, and Drilling Systems
Our facility integrates precision sawing, milling, and drilling systems to ensure high-efficiency production. CNC sawing provides burr-free, accurate cuts, while our milling machines use high-precision optical scales for strict flatness control. Additionally, our drilling equipment utilizes precision spindles to maintain consistent hole alignment and support high-volume batch processing.
CNC Machining
CNC lathes and machining centres allow all pins, bushings, and cylinders to be produced in-house, ensuring better quality control, tighter tolerances, and faster lead times.
